Ghotok Mama is a matrimonial platform that enables users (bride, groom or their guardians) to create and view biodata/profiles. Users may send a preliminary proposal (interest) to check the other party’s willingness prior to direct contact. Ghotok Mama facilitates introduction and information only — subsequent communication, meetings and any other arrangements are the sole responsibility of the users.
Users must provide accurate, complete and verifiable information when creating profiles. Profiles that contain false, misleading or incomplete information may be rejected or removed.
Each registered profile must include suitable guardian contact information (a male guardian is required for female profiles unless no male guardian exists).
Users are responsible for keeping their profile information up to date.
Profiles for persons below the legally required age of marriage will not be approved. Users must comply with applicable laws regarding marriageable age.
All submitted biodata are subject to review. Ghotok Mama reserves the right to approve or reject any biodata at its discretion.
For divorced profiles, submission of supporting divorce documentation may be required for approval.
Providing only a female guardian’s contact (when a male guardian is available) may lead to non-approval unless the special fee/condition is applied as per platform policy.
Full Profile View: Registered users may view full profiles except guardian names and direct contact numbers (unless permitted by package or after proposal acceptance).
Image View: Free users may see blurred images; paid users can view clear images based on package rules or after profile owner’s acceptance.
Users may send proposals (interest) to profiles they prefer. When a proposal is sent and the recipient responds (Accept/Reject), a “request count” is registered.
If no response is received within 24 hours, the system will automatically mark the proposal as accepted (auto-accept) and both parties will be able to view guardian contact details.
The sender may cancel a proposal within 12 hours to get the request back. Cancellation between 12–24 hours after sending will not return the used request.
Users are advised to send proposals only to profiles that match their preferences to avoid unnecessary consumption of proposal credits.
Upon acceptance, both parties will be able to view each other’s guardian contact details (per package rules).
Packages are non-transferable between users/accounts.
If subsequent information indicates the other party was already engaged/married or non-responsive, the platform may provide support or mediation but will not refund package fees.
Certain premium packages may allow direct (instant) viewing of guardian contact details without sending proposals. This feature is available only for higher-tier packages as specified on the site.
SMS and Email notifications will be sent for important events (proposal sent, accepted or rejected, etc.). Notification services are active across packages unless otherwise stated.
Profiles may be suspended or removed for reasons including, but not limited to:
false or misleading information;
abusive or disrespectful behavior towards platform staff or other users;
sharing other users’ personal information on social media or public channels;
repeated auto-accept issues causing disruption;
making offensive, defamatory or illegal remarks;
unpaid penalties or violation of platform rules.
If a profile is removed, reactivation or re-submission may be subject to fees as per platform policy.
All communications and meetings should be conducted via guardians as appropriate and in accordance with local cultural and religious norms.
Users must act respectfully, honestly and lawfully. The platform expects adherence to Islamic values and cultural norms where applicable.
Ghotok Mama is only a facilitator. Any in-person verification, background checks or final decisions remain the users’ responsibility.
Ghotok Mama provides the platform for introductions and is not responsible for the outcome of any meetings, marriages or disputes arising from users’ interactions.
While the platform may assist in mediation or provide remedies for certain issues, monetary refunds for packages will not be provided (see Refund Policy).
Ghotok Mama does not guarantee authenticity beyond its approval checks and is not liable for any loss or harm that may occur following user contact.
Ghotok Mama may change features, pricing, packages or these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the site. Continued use of services after changes indicates acceptance of revised terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
